RCC for Matthew at Clumber Spaniel Club Championship show

We travelled to the UK for the Clumber Spaniel Club Championship show. A great day catching up with old and new friends made special with Matthew winning a strong Open class a then the RCC.

Myles wins Reserve Best in Show

Myles – Ir Ch Glenariff Einstein – was a clever boy at the Ulster Dachshund Club open show winning BOB and then Reserve Best in Show.

Matthew wins CC & BOB

On his fourth visit to the UK, Matthew won the CC and Best of Breed and passed the vet check for high profile breeds to proceed to the group. Icing on the cake was Darci winning the Puppy Bitch class and Best Puppy in Breed. Monty – co-owned with this breeder Jenny Langridge won the puppy dog class and to top it off Jenny’s young bitch Megan won her class also.

Thank you Jenny for my Badgersmoon kids and your continued friendship and support.

To judge Valda Day, thank you for thinking so highly of my guys and for your lovely comments about them.

A great weekend!

At Fermoy International show on Saturday.

Matthew (clumber) won the Green Star and CACIB.

Lucy (pointer) took the Green Star but was too young to win the CACIB. Basil was graded excellent and won his class.

On Sunday we had an unforgettable day.

Matthew won Green Star and BOB, Myles won Green Star and BOB and Lucy took Green Star and BOB

Lucy wins Best Puppy in Show

What a fab day at the the Northern Ireland West Highland White Terrier Club open show.

Lucy won Best AVNSC and Best AVNSC Puppy then took Gundog Group 2 under and the won the Puppy Group under Diane Stewart-Ritchie then went on to take Best Puppy in Show under Robert Lamont.

Not to be forgotten Frankie, took Best of Breed, Best Puppy in Breed and Puppy Hound Group 3 under Kate Harbinson and making her ring debut at just 6 months Darci took second in her class behind our Lucy!

Dave takes BOB at Bull Breeds

Dave took another BOB win at the All Ireland Bull Breeds Association show. He then went on to take 3rd in the Group. This was his 10th Green Star of 2011 and put him in the lead for Annual Champion.

Frankie wins Reserve Best Baby Puppy in Show

Our new pup ‘Frankie’ made her debut at Portadown Canine Club championship show and thrilled us all by not only winning Best Baby Puppy in Breed but going on to be selected Reserve Best Baby Puppy in Show.

Thanks you to breed judge Donna Francis (USA) and Best in Show judge Nicky Hammond for thinking so highly of our girl.

Frankie is just four and a half months old!

CC win for Matthew at SWKA

Whilst on holiday in Wales we decided to use South Wales Championship show for Matthew (Ir Sh Ch Badgersmoon The Bard of Glenariff) to make his UK debut and attend our first UK champ show in 5 years.

So we are over the moon that Matthew not only won the Open dog class but took the Dog CC.

Thank you to judge Mr Robin Sadler for thinking so highly of our boy.

And to his breeder and our friend Jenny Landgridge I cannot thank you enough for letting us have this super boy and for letting us stay, or should I say putting up with us, while in Wales.
