Claire, our sweet natured chocolate girl, came to us via Lena Shutt of the Donnadoon dachshunds who knew we were interested in a chocolate girl of show potential. Thank you Lena for finding this little treasure.
Claire was a great mover and took time to settle in the show ring.
Claire greatest achievement was winning Best of Breed at the Hound Association of Ireland Championship show in August 2010.
This show attracted an entry of 42 Mini Smooths, the largest entry for the breed in 2010.
Sadly we lost Claire in 2014 – she was only 6
